Are you ready?

I am!  Spring is coming, and I am getting ready to turn up the heat on my fishing.  I have spent some time at the bench, getting some favorite flies tied to use.  I'm on my way to the Lower Mountain Fork, Broken Bow, OK in a couple of weeks.
...keep the rod bent!

Just couldn't wait...

Grandson and I got the rods out today, and drove to a local wildlife refuge to try our luck.  The ponds were mostly still frozen, and hard to fish, but we had a good day out, and I had a nice discussion with a fellow angler.  That is one of my favorite things about fishing- good people, always willing to talk about what we love and share ideas.
