I'm excited, fishing a new stream...

I've been fishing the South Platte River in Colorado for several years, and have done well on the 'Dream Stream' between Eleven Mile and Spinney Mountain Reservoirs.  Not too long ago, I had the fortune to catch some 18" fat rainbows that were so strong that I had to chase them downsteam to keep from loosing them.  Great fun!!!

In a couple of weeks, my grandson and I will try the Eleven Mile Canyon for the first time, and I can't wait.  It is supposed to be a very good dry fly area, and this time of year some terrestrials should be hopping as well (pun intended).  Come back for my report and pics.
